:: UNESCO World Heritage Sites
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) designates World Heritage Sites as places (such as a city, complex, building, monument, or natural environment) that has a special cultural or physical significance. The list is maintained by the international World Heritage Programme administered by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.

The program catalogues, names, and conserves sites of outstanding cultural or natural importance to the common heritage of humanity.

Mexico is home to more than 30 designated or nominated sites, many more that any other country in the Americas and behind only Italy (45), Spain (42), China (40), France (34) and Germany (33).  Many of Mexico World Heritage Sites are included on one or more of the tours offered here.

Please join us and see what the world considers Mexico treasures.
